believe it or not i was having the exact same problem a couple months ago.try this.as soon as you flush it plunge the heck out of it.let it fill then flush and plunge again.i know it doesn’t sound right but after i did that it hasn’t missed since and that was like two months ago so it is definitly worth a try for you.

as far as getting the wire inside the wall and ceiling goes, anything is possible.but if it’s going to be a federal case it may be worth it to just go with the raceway wiring. it’s a channel(not conduit) that mounts on the wall or ceiling and the wiring goes in it.

the screws make for a much more reliable connection.i can’t tell you how many problems i’ve had with the wires coming out on back wired devices mostly recepticals.

that was the first thing i did.when i did that i didn’t see any evidence of the heating element coming on but it was hard to tell because there was so much ice.also after i advanced it to that point i left it and came back later and it had come out of the timer cycle but my thought was that the timer could be sticking at some other point of the 12 hour run duration.when i go back to work monday i was going to start it back up and let the freezer get cold then advance it to the defrost point and see if the heating element comes.

yes they still make them.absolutly.some of the old ones had sensitivity adjustments on them.they also make combination hard wire with battery backup along with the regular battery operated.in our townhomes we like to have a combination of both types.

here are your options.you can replace the outlet receptical(thats what i would do)or you can remove it, cap the wires, and replace the cover with a blank cover.if you decide to remove it and it has an infeed and an outgoing then you must connect the hots together and the neutrals together or you will lose power to something else inside the house.
    best just replace the outlet.

it is very important that before you connect the water line to the fridge you should open the valve and run a quart or so of water through it to allow any debris like metal shavings or whatever to be flushed out of the new tube so as not to clog the ice making device.

the only way the new lights will work(the way you want them to)is if they are parallel with the existing light.

only if they are fogging up inside between the double pane then there is a problem.if you are getting condensation on the outside then it is very very humid outside and the air conditioner is working very well,so well that it is actually keeping the windows cool enough to allow condensation to form.i don’t think you have a problem in my opinion.

how about at the faucet?is the water hot there?sometimes you need to run the faucet until the water starts getting hot before you start the dishwasher.some dishwashers(most)have a built in heating element that engages depending on selected options although i feel the heating element is rarely needed.
