LarryGParticipant
the faucet need repair or you turnum knob wrong way.you hava pressure you just tell me you can’t stop water running.no pressure=no water also call h20
LarryGParticipantfor elaborating on what has already been said.
LarryGParticipantas long as the pipes are not chimney pipes they will not catch a curtain on fire unless the cutain is plastic will melt.
LarryGParticipantsmart thinking.
LarryGParticipant“we put on a new addition to our house”.who’s we.did you do all the work yourself?maybe the footings weren’t dug deep enough and it’s sinking.
need more information.LarryGParticipantthe difference is 3/8 of an inch.that means 3/8 of the door sticking out past the frame on the inside, not to mention you would need to offset the latches for the locks to one edge to align with the current strikes, ect.
i would say no.
LarryGParticipantno can do. it’s ruined.
LarryGParticipantLarryGParticipantthe ones i’ve changed had two bolts in front and the whole blower drops down.the back hooks on.
LarryGParticipant“We never had this problem with the previous washer in the same drain.”
not every washer has the same requirements regarding standpipes.
furthermore whose to say the old one wasn’t pumping it out slower than it should have been.
or the drain is not taking it the way it should, that would be my first suspicion.LarryGParticipantdid you tell them to keep the old pad on the stairs and main room?
they assume you want everything new.for all that matters they don’t even know about the flood and your reasons for getting new carpeting.
everyone only gives half the story.
LarryGParticipantwindow putty. it should scrape right off.
it might help to warm it a little but don’t make it too hot or glass will break.
LarryGParticipantnah, although i saw somebody almost break a faucet trying to get one off because she didn’t know the secret.
LarryGParticipantthat’s not what i’m saying.what did the repairman say? the water has crud that is what is causing your problems.so you need to take extra steps to filter the water before it enters the appliances.
check that filter you just put in.i’ll bet it’s blocked and not allowing water to flow freely to the dishwasher.LarryGParticipanti remember getting those for a window long time ago.
i didn’t like them but they worked good.
