The blower on my Lennox G20 hvac system (age 19 yrs)will start up normally, but stops running after running for about 40-50 minutes. When I checked the blower motor, it was very hot.I was told the motor probably overheated and shut itself off. A clerk at a local industrial supply store suggested that I pull the motor and bring it in and they can match me up with a replacwment. However, I cannot figure how to remove the motor as there is no clearence on either side.I am stumped. Any help will be appreciated.

You should have 2 screws going up through 2 rails which are attached to the sides of the blower housing if you take out these screws you can slide the entire blower housing out through the front of the furnace and have access to the motor you may have to disconnect some control and line voltage wiring so have some wire marking tape handy
