    * On a 220 volt stove, it matters not if you connect the Black to one terminal and the red to the other or vice or versa.
    * The Neutral must not be tied to earth ground! The Neutral white wire is not used unless you have 110 volt outlets in the welding machine or stove.
    * Connect only the bare copper wire to the ground connector.
    * The only place that the Neutral and Copper ground are connected together are at the power panel where power comes into the house.

    * Good luck… Adios… Jasper…

    * Connect Neutrals (white wire) together.
    * Get a double pole single throw switch,
    * Connect the Hot wire (black)to common on both sides of the switch.
    * Connect Light to n/o on one side
    * Connect Fan to n/o on the other side.
    ** Fan and light will now come on with flip of the double pole switch.
    * Get a single pole single throw switch.
    * Connect Black (Hot) to common.
    * jumper the n/o from this switch to the n/o where the fan connects.
    ** With the double pole switch on off, The single pole switch will now turn the fan on and off.
    Note: If the double pole switch is left on, the single pole switch will not turn the fan off. Turn the double pole switch off to allow the other switch to turn the fan on/off only.

    * With the toilet removed and you can still see weater in the drain, then the vent is ok. Venting is being done through the toilet hole.
    * Suggest you open the clean out plug and see if there is standing water there. There shouldn’t be.
    * Are you on a septic system or a city sewer system?
    * If on a septic, the drain field my be stopped up. Or the field could be saturated with rain water.
    * Are you in Iowa? Lots of rain there lately.
    * Report back..

    * Need more info…
    * If Central Unit, then an external Thermostat has to be wired in. The Thermostat tells the A/C unit and compressor when to Start/Stop.
    * How many prongs in the A/C Cable?
    * If a window unit, check for 230 volts between the two phases. Outlet should have the two prongs for the voltage and one prong for the green earth ground.

    * If you’re looking for the square footage of the four walls, then add the square footage of the walls, then subtract the square footage of all doors, windows, vents and any other opening in the walls. The result will be the net square footage of the walls in that room.
    * You need that figure when ordering paint or any other material that covers the wall.

    * I had a broken sewer line broken under my slab that caused the slab to shift and cause cracks in the walls.
    * The sewer line was broken for some time and caused the house to sink a bit.
    * They covered the cost of the plumbing but nothing else.

    * The house may have been built that way and the carpeting masked the slope.
    * First choice, a Structural Engineer.
    * Second Choice, a foundation repair company such as OLSHAN will check your house out and give you a recommendation and a quote, for free maybe… They did for me. My Insurance company, ALLSTATE, sent out a Structural Engineer.

    * A plumber will have a power snake with cutting blades that can go into the sewer pipe for many feet.
    * You can rent a power snake, but they are DANGEROUS!!! A friend of mine lost 1/2 of his index finger when the snake got jammed and the snake coiled around his finger a ripped it off…
    * Call a plumber…

    * When you press the “Start Button”, this signals the computer chip to turn on the heating elements.
    * At the same time, a latch-back circuit maintains the circuit.
    * By pressing and holding the button, you are in effect providing the Latch-Back function.

    * A blown fuse (fused?) indicates a short in the circuit.
    * The fuses will continue to “Blow” as long as you continue to install new fuses. Don’t waste any more fuses, call an Electrician ASAP!

    * In s light bulb socket, the part that you screw the light bulb into will be hot! If you touch the lightbulb base while putting it in or taking it out,
    you will get zapped!
    * The center tab will be at Neutral potential.
    * It is imperative that you correct the wiring ASAP!!!

    * Thiggy suggested to try Acetone.
    * I would take a scrap piece of laminate and soak the whole thing with acetone and then let dry.
    * Check what effect the acetone had on it.
    * If that don’t work, there’s a procedure where you can replace the laminate board with a new one, Check out this site:

    * When you put a straw into a liguid then stop the end of the straw with your thumb, you will note that the liquid stays in the straw until you remove your thumb that allows venting above the liquid thereby allowing the liquid to flow.
    * That’s what you have. The vent above the washer ia restricted. The water in the pipe needs air above it to prevent a vacuum from forming. When the vacuum forms, air is needed to allow the water to flow.
    * Where does it get the air from? Your toilet. The air is going from the atmosphere through th toilet water to the drain pipe.
    * Good luck… Adios… Jasper…
