      How do you find the square footage of a room?

      * If you’re looking for the square footage of the four walls, then add the square footage of the walls, then subtract the square footage of all doors, windows, vents and any other opening in the walls. The result will be the net square footage of the walls in that room.
      * You need that figure when ordering paint or any other material that covers the wall.
      * Good luck… Adios… Jasper…

      Hi,

      A square has 4 sides, but to calculate square feet you take the length of the two sides from one corner.

      Example the two side’s length is 12 feet and 13 feet

      12 feet * 13 feet = 156 square feet.

      Good luck!
