      bought a new ac put it on its on line with 14-2 and a 20 amp it calls for 230 volts what am i missing it wont run leds a working for temp and mode and so forth but it wont run

      wrong wire size and wrong breaker.

      * Need more info…
      * If Central Unit, then an external Thermostat has to be wired in. The Thermostat tells the A/C unit and compressor when to Start/Stop.
      * How many prongs in the A/C Cable?
      * If a window unit, check for 230 volts between the two phases. Outlet should have the two prongs for the voltage and one prong for the green earth ground.
