ParticipantUsually you need to change the gas orifice. I would call the gas company and see what they say. Alot of times, they will come out for free or, for a small service charge, convert it for you.

ParticipantIt is my understanding that ‘Jinny Lind’ is a style of bed and not the manufacturer. I repaired one sometime ago. I looked all over and underneath and found an 800 number to call for parts, had written down the number but now I can’t find my notes. When I find them I will post.

ParticipantI am not really sure about your question. I have been a registered user on this board since 1999. When I login and post a message, I just get my regular login(screen) name ‘bink’. If I don’t login, I get ‘Unregistered-bink’. I guess that after 40 years as a IBM system programmer, Unix system programmer, scientific computer programmer, Unix system administer, and internet(ethernet) administer. among others, I am immune to most things. lol

ParticipantDo you have a GFCI somewhy? That sounds like your problem. Most bathroom, by the NEC, requires them. It could be in your breaker box or in one of the outlets. If so press the reset button. HTH

ParticipantI am sorry about your problem and agree with Doug. But saying that, it appears that the ‘fiber’ board was meant for that purpose. Fiber board will do alot of expansion and contraction and that maybe the board was installed to tightly, in this case, on a hot and humid day, the board will expand causing them to buckle. Can you check with the manufacturer about the problem and see what they has to say? JMO
