Participantfor two reasons. (1) the brick mold is usually installed last and (2) never ignore what you wife is saying or all h*ll will be raised or you will get a number of ‘I told you so’.

ParticipantMcSherry, I think a Formica surface would do the job, but for cutting fabic it might be a little slippery. Also, maybe tempered masonite might be a good choice. I have seen the cuuting table that you refered to, but I didn’t pay much attention to the surface material.

ParticipantGo buy a cheap analog vom meter, about$10.00 at your local hardware store, use that and you will find that it will read zero. On some open circuits, my DVM will read greater than 0, sometimes as high as 70 volts, but my inexpensive analog VOM will read zero, it just depends on the high impedance of the voltmeter, introducing erronious readings.

ParticipantIf you are using a high impedance DVM, which most are, you will get a erronious voltage(phantom) reading across the switch. It means nothing and just an artifact of the circuit.

ParticipantI couldn’t find the code you needed on my remote code website, the only thing I can think of is unplugging(not turning off) the TV and letting it set for about five minutes. This will usually reset the TV to the factory value.

ParticipantCheck my arithmetic.
D = diameter.
C = Circumference.
pi = 3.14159 ……..D = 8 ft
C = pi X 8 ft = 25.13274Width of finished 2X8 = 7.25 in
Number of boards = (25.1324 X 12) / 7.25
= 41.6
~ 42 boards
Sum of interior angles (regular polygon) = (180(n-2) = 180(42-2) = 180(40) = 7200 degrees.Interior angle = 7200/42 = 171.428….
Cut angle is 1/2 of that = 85.714 ~ 86 degrees.
I think, that is correct.
