Turn the baseboard upside down, with the back still to the saw fence and then add 90 degree to the angle or substract the angle form 180 degrees.

binkParticipantbut in general, the concensus is that it is not a DIY job. Their was even an eposode on one of the DIY channel, that had a tub professionally refinished. Look in the yellow pages, for tub refinishing.

binkParticipantI have also heard the samething that lg commented on. It is suppose to work well. I also heard putting a small container/dish of vinegar on the bottom rack and running it through the cycle without soap will also do the trick.

binkParticipantHair spray will usually do the job, but try it first by trying to remove a little area, to see that it will not attack the sofa.

type in the model number that you gave, you can get a diagram of the washing machine, it lists two but I used the top one. If shows the hex bolt that you mentioned but it also appears that you must unscrew, the top couple of inches of the agitator, not realy clear in the diagram. Once this is done, remove the hex bolt and then the agitator should pull up. I hope this helps make your wife happy. :>)

binkParticipantYes, sometimes they will work but not well. There was a big discussion about this on another forum but I couldn’t find the thread to point you to. The main jist of the discussion was that it was not worth the effort. Europian appliances work on a 50 hertz frequency, while in the western hemisphere, the frequncy is 60 hertz. This will(can) effect the timer in the appliances causing them to run errously. To get the proper equipment to convert from 60 hertz to 50 hertz is not worth the expensive or time.

binkParticipantThe dowel rods in my closet to put clothes hangers on are 1 1/2″ in diameter. I got my at Ace Hardware but I am sure Lowes/Home Depot has them. The are not very expensive.

binkParticipantMy first thought was the same as Jasper’s but it also could be caused by a partially b;ocked drain line. Try using a toilet auger to clean out the line. They costs around $10.00 at any hardware store.
