ParticipantHere are manuals for similar #103.xxx craftsman jointers made by King Seeley
http://www.owwm.com/MfgIndex/Publications.asp?ID=222
And from that website…….”Copies of manuals for many vintage Craftsman machines with model numbers beginning 103. and 113. are available by emailing
Include model number and your mailing address in the request. They may reply saying they have no info for your particular model number, but watch your mailbox. Sometimes they claim that, then mail it.”

ParticipantHow’s the cooling in those far rooms…..Flexible ductwork slows the A/C……long runs should be avoided especially long drooping suspended runs………
And what’s the cause for the repeated damage to the existing flex ductwork…..maybe you need something tougher…….?
Do you have access to replace with insulated rigid pipe or ductboard ?

ParticipantI would use a heatgun……
Blow it on HIGH in a small area on the surface of the surround and try to pry the plastic off the wall…..start at a corner/edge….MOST adhesives will release with heat……..
It was installed for a “reason”…..maybe the wall/bottom is rotted……hiding…..
Also the common instructions for gluing to tile include “sanding” your tiles to insure a good bond……..They may not be in any condition to reuse/use……….

Participanthttp://www.woodzone.com/articles/biscuit/biscuit_joiner.htm
The biscuit creates a strong “tenon” joint…….The compressed wooden biscuit expands when wet with the glue…..The Joint is self-aligning during assembly…….
Alternative construction might include redesigning the joints to accept Glue and Screws or Dowels…….OR additional reinforcement………goodluck

Participant……replace the Tub Spout with a decorative hose bib to create a “full-flow” shower……….
