The water does not completely divert to the showerhead from the faucet. There’s the usual little pull-up thingy on the faucet to divert the water. enough, I replaced the faucet with a cheap Wal-Mart one, and that didn’t help at all. Next I bought a more expensive faucet from Lowe’s, and that didn’t help either. I take it apart and can manually, with ease, make the diverter move as it’s supposed to. There is sufficient water pressure, Please help

It is a possibility that the shower head is partially clogged with depostis from the water, or, if you have galvanized piping anywhere in your water supply ther is rust in the shower head. try removing the shower head, and cleaning the filter screen just inside the head.
