I have plans for a child’s bed with storage under it. In the directions, it calls for a “plate joiner”. I have an idea just from the directions, But What Is A Plate Joiner?

If I don’t have one is there anything else I can use to get the same results?

      Thanks

      http://www.woodzone.com/articles/biscuit/biscuit_joiner.htm

The biscuit creates a strong “tenon” joint…….The compressed wooden biscuit expands when wet with the glue…..The Joint is self-aligning during assembly…….

Alternative construction might include redesigning the joints to accept Glue and Screws or Dowels…….OR additional reinforcement………goodluck
