Removing the door is quite easy……

Open the door to the first position…. (open about 6-8 inches)…..Grab the door on left and right sides and LIFT….No mechanical latches or screws…..just gravity

Replacement is just as easy……Make sure the hinges are in the “open” position and lower the door onto the hinges

Yes just wirenut the red wire……

Since both of the feeds were switched you won’t “know” which switch until you try ….one switch will do nothing of course….

I’ve just about given up finding an EXACT replacement two speed switch for my SEARS reciprocating saw…….
