Boy they sure will love ya if your putting down new carpet. I was thinking after a drywall project the gripper strippers(as I call em)just gotta be moved to ensure the proper space for the tuck.

I usually just use a little pry bar or a claw hammer. If your carpeting over it little nicks and mars dont really matter. The little nails that dont come out just pound em in

clean or replace the screen at the end of the faucet. There is an areator that the screen gets pluged up with calcium or just gunk from your water.

I dont know what kind of mess you have there. What I mean is can you get the old hot glue out now that you find it wont work? If you can just get some contracters white glue and spread a medium coat on it and weight it down till dry. I mean alot of weight and alot of time. We laminate duraflake at work and use white glue and then put the boards in a press, they are only pressed for about twenty minutes but we dont cut them for 7 or 8 hrs. you could also use contact cement for a good job if you can get at both sides and have clean parts to work with. We had damage to our countertop and had the insurance guy come. They had to replace all the countertop and island top too! We did have to pay the deductable tho.

I grow grapes to make wine and would never put a grape vine next to my house. I laugh just thinking about the older canes growing thru his window trim and your (ahem) educated boss, the world traveler that he is, thinking its neat to have fresh grapes along with his corn flakes in the morning. Actually that wouldnt happen either as grapes only grow on last years growth anyway. If he thinks is so neat have him take a picture and frame it in his front room but really not a good idea tohve grape vine trying to invade his home.

I had a mound put in when I built 17 yrs ago and after two months it leaked. I got ahold of the builder and they put in a Multi flow septic system. It has motors and filters (no mound either). the water it puts out could be put in a river its so clean but of corse ours goes into a fieldcthat is twice the normal required field..If your state allows this unit ..it is your answer . Mine works just super altho i have it serviced twice a year to clean filters and check to make sure everything is up to snuff

check the screen at the very end of your faucet where the water comes out, I’ll bet its plugged. Just unscrew the thing and it will come off.

If the pvc is big enough try sliding your long shop vac hose in there to try and suck it out. I have a little screen in my fresh air intake for my furnace. keeps those little birds from doing that.

I have used just regular ol white glue and leave pressure on it till it drys. That was in an out of the way place. You could certainly use a contact cement too. Make sure the nap is running the right way and it all fluffs up right before gluing it down. The best way to get around this is to maybe stop smoking in the house, but then you dont get the changing of colors of the carpet and walls along with the fresh smell when you walk in the room. Just kidding of corse.

I would just want to remind you that cobwebws tend to gather on joists and areas like that. It would seem that on new construction you wouldnt have that much loss of headspace in comparison to older flagstone basements. Its just that if you paint it white and then invite ol dad over there he may wanna have a Barn Dance!!!
