Where you unhooked the hose from the pipe is where you are going to put the new shutoff valve. If those fittings are 1/2 inch you get a valve with 1/2 inch ends remembering that one end screws onto the pipe and the other end the hose screws onto it. You should probably go to the nearest Home-depot ect,,as you will probably go back to get the right part so when you take the first part out of the packaging be carefull not to ruin it too bad cuz you want to take it back and have it look half way decent. Good luck

Well if you live where it never freezes it would be ok. But walking on ice gets a little tricky.

It would seem to me that the lines that have been empty for the last three years have toi fill with water before you get any water out of your upstairs faucet. The new water comming in when you turn back on the water has to push out the air in the lines. Just turn on your faucets and turn on the water main. You should hear air being pushed out of the lines by the following water..Three years of nonuse you may have rust and junk built up in your lines blcoking flow of water at the little screen at your faucets too.

About all you can do is position the headboard so the leg ends rest on the floor when you tighten the bolts down.

The very first thing I would do is turn off the water to the bathroom and then clean up the hallway. Then I would go turn on the water to the bathroom and wait awhile to see if puddle came back. If it didn’t I would run the bath for a while and check floor again –no water –try running the sink. Ill bet you will find a broken pipe fitting or leak in drain. Good luck

cut the repair pcs of carpet to fit with the grain going the same way. You may have to go to a carpet store and rent a carpet iron and buy some carpet seam tape. Cut the tape to fit the seams and heat the iron and glide the iron alnog the tape between the tape and carpet Sa the cglue on the tape melts position the carpet in place. The people at the carpet store will tell you and show you how to do it. Good luck.but just take your time to get a good fit and seam that no-one will see

clean the connections to the starter, and make sure they are tight also you may find a blown fuse somewhere along the line.. Might wanna make sure the mower blade isnt in gear as that won’t let it start. My neighbor guy called the serviceman for his mower just for that hahaha.

I would use the “knee banger”as you say total is 300 sq ft and half is secure so that leaves half or maybe a strech 10 by 15. I certainly wouldnt get out the old carpet streacher for that job.

You can probably take a broadknife used in drywall and just scrape it off. Alot of times it was put on to hide imperfections in the celing so be prepared to maybe even drywall over it anyway.

Remove the little areator at the faucet end. It is probably plugged solid with lime. It just unscrews and has a little screen or plastic thing in it. A new one cost just a couple dollars. Sometimes there are a few screens in it and just remove the bad one and away you go.
