    I aggree with policydoctor1. Bur buy good quality ball valve 1/2 x 3/8″ (Dahl) and flexible supply tubing.

    Ask to your contractor, how he does his job. The preparation is the key. The tub must be sand and cleaned with tsp. There must be no dust.

    I did it in an appartment 2 years ago and the tub is still in very good shape.

    We must keep old cast iron thub. They are better than steel thub.

    The most important thing is préparation. Clean your thub whit tsp and sand it.

    Foam is wather proof. But you can add an aluminium vapor barrier to keep heat inside.
    Put a 2 in foam.

    If it is a cast iron, use a sledge hammer. But first cover it whit a scrap cloth.

    Nothing else than a brush. The same one that we use to clean a bottle.

    On the market, there is a product called poly prep, alkyd base. It preps the slipping surfaces. Open the window !! Do you want to get my bathroom pink ceramic ???

    Your studs must be drying. Dis you ad some studs ? If yes, it’s normal and your situation will get normal in a few months.

    Put a coat of latex primer and 2 coats of finish.

    He’s right. thats not an esay job. But it’s ok to make a tranch and put a pvc pipe of 1″ tu run the cable. Call a contractor for the remaining job. A real one. Not a fly by night !

    After the dark all the wasp are inside the nest. bring a flashlight with you and take youre time to find the entrance.D’ont worry, the activity will be low. When you got it, fill up the nest with your sray.
