chipping gun – that’s how i’d do it.
itsreallyconcreteParticipantthe glue should’ve only adhered to the sealer so its not a big deal,,, there’re diamond polishing hand pads avail for light h/o work in most grits if you have a noticeable scuff after scraping.
itsreallyconcreteParticipantwe’ll get together & stop by for a live demonstration,,, you need to provide the beer & pizza 🙂 good luck !
itsreallyconcreteParticipantseem to work best however the ideas you posted’ll work fine long’s you’ve got the elevation,,, acid-staining’s another possibility.
itsreallyconcreteParticipantas its a proprietary mtl only avail to trained installers,,, sounds as if it could be a warranty issue,,, what type of pool is it ???
itsreallyconcreteParticipantoverlaying hose coil of hose on the ground w/successive coils as usual ‘cept for this critical difference,,, alternate coils so that the ‘twist’ is 1st on top of the coil &, 2nd, underneath – where you’d normally twist the hose in the direction of the coil to negate kinks, the other’s reverse twisted & placed UNDER the current coil.
if this makes sense, thanks be to God 🙂 much easier to demonstrate than describe.
itsreallyconcreteParticipantframe the opening, buy some straphinges, & rehang the doors
box stores change suppliers/employees as often as we change socks.
itsreallyconcreteParticipantbut 50′ lengths’re easier,,, not sure i’d want to drag 150′ even halving it to 75′,,, we use 3/4″ rubber – more expensive than usual h/o stuff – which lasts yrs,,, try some brass quik-snap hose ends – much better.
we always use a fireman’s coil to store hose,,, have pulled 600′ off the back of a truck & never had a kink or twist.
itsreallyconcreteParticipant&, using a straight 2×4, tape a 4’level to the top edge,,, level by rotating the 2×4,,, we use a gas compaction plate for the base then top w/sand & screed w/2×4
itsreallyconcreteParticipantits a bad tank,,, if its the air fitting on the btm that allows you to pump air into the bladder, its the fitting,,, if the soldered jnts’re leaking, its them.
in any event, it should still be on the the cold feed line.
it was explained to me by town inspector that, w/advent of backflow preventers recently installed, wtr pressure could increase ‘tween wtr htr & house supply causing jnt connections to leak,,, hence, expansion tank.
itsreallyconcreteParticipantoutta luck,,, its on our dime now.
itsreallyconcreteParticipantmy bride miss’d it, too,,, now replacing the street/house line’s on us 🙁
itsreallyconcreteParticipanta recall of pvc pipe nor any class action suit,,, where’d you get your information ?
itsreallyconcreteParticipantmillwork / lumber yard – apron stores are useless in this situation.
itsreallyconcreteParticipant’cause town installed new meters/back-flow preventers,,, ours is on cold side,,, pop-off valve should take care of the h/w side,,, would look for the directions but they’re gone &, honestly, can’t remember if i even read ’em or not 🙂
