i talked to my electrician, who had a better idea. She suggested capping off the old wiring (which she says is probably 240), and just tapping the 120v stove outlet off of the new, dedicated microwave line that she ran for me. I have some yellow sheathed electrical cable 12/2 on hand – can i use that wire for this purpose?

I’d prefer to wire an outlet in this box and plug in the new gas range instead of hard wiring it. I believe that my new range uses 120v. The old Jenn-Air was on it’s own circuit (Model SVD48600) and I don’t know if the line is 120v or higher.

I can do some simple electrical work, and simply wiring an outlet is feasible, but knowing if it’s a higher wattage is beyond me. Before I hire an electrician to perform what might be a simple outlet install, is there a way for me to tell which wattage the line is?

I want to replace my laminate counter top with 12″ granite tiles, and then tile my backsplash. I hope to do this project over the fall/winter months.

Rubbermaid makes a strip and clip system that you can install either flush inside a cabinet or into a dado. They are metal strips, sort of like the old adjustable shelving strips, but instead of long brackets to hold the shelves, you insert shelf clips on either side and they hold the shelves.

    Here’s a link:

The Rubbermaid website has them, but “Not Available for Purchase on Rubbermaid.com.” Not sure if you might be able to locate them near you somewhere. Good luck!

    Thanks Billhart ~

I did as you suggested – I purchased my THIRD new set of bolts (brass) and washers, as well as a new extra-thick valve washer. I replaced it all in the order you said, and viola. NO DRIPS!

    Go to URL

There are several versions for Frigidaire, but most of the F2 and F3 fault codes are like “oven too hot.” Maybe a faulty over thermometor or oven sensor makes it think the oven is hotter than it really is.

Guess I’ll just have to get used to it them. It’s reassuring to know that it wasn’t because of the, *ahem*, installer!

This is one of the high-neck faucets, but the sprayer is separate, it does not come out of the faucet itself. The model name is “Waterfall,” and I think the model number is 39346, series 174.

One thing I want to mention is that when I called Delta and spoke to a customer service rep, they didn’t say that this was expected with this model. They were the ones who offered to send me the new replacement parts to try and correct the problem.
