We’ve had 2 folks out now to look at this – none were familiar with Whirlpool per say, so now I’m biting the bullet and getting a whirlpool guy in. arg. It’s probably stuck or jammed in some way – the stove was here when we bought the house, so there’s not much we can do as far as tracking down where it came from.

Thanks so much for your reply. The model number is SF365BRYW0 – tried lifting from the front but no go. Any thoughts are appreciated!
