LeticiaParticipant
It could be the reciever or the Capacitor, But if you can control the fan with the remote, I don’t see it being the receiver. Try taking it down and checking it out. Sometimes the wires can come loose if not. It could also be the 9 pin connector. I know this sounds silly, but did you change the bulb? You might also check the socket, and the be sure you always use the correct wattage bulbs, so you don’t kill the fan entirely.
LeticiaParticipantHere’s their website
http://www.hunterfan.com/index2.phpI would first see if they could help, I am sure they can. If not, take the fan down, check all the wires, it could be that something blew inside the fan like the capacitor or maybe it’s the 9 pin connector.
good luck.
LeticiaParticipant1)sounds like something on or in the fan is not properly mounted. Maybe you should check the screws and the lighting ficture. 2)I think it means not to hit reverse while on high 3)you might need a different type light bulb, I’m not sure but I’d call the manufacturer on that one 4) The fan is to simply circulate the air. We should take into consideration the size of the room, you might need a larger fan or perhaps 2 fans.
LeticiaParticipantwindex might do the trick.
LeticiaParticipantI spray painted my metal door and it looks great. they sell this plastic handle you can put right on the can to make it easier to spray.
LeticiaParticipantTry the super market.
LeticiaParticipantLeticiaParticipantI use the lysol brand cleaner. It’s a blue thick gel kind of cleaner and it seems to work pretty good. Good luck
LeticiaParticipantMaybe they are like sliding doors, usually there’s a screw where the wheel is that can be adjusted. good luck!
LeticiaParticipantThere’s a chance that it’s not balanced. First I would check that the mounting plate is firmly attached to the electrical box, and that the box is on a stud, beam or Bracket in between 2 studs or Beams. If that’s ok, then the fan needs to be balanced. To balance, grab the kit that came with the fan or you can use a nickel. Tape it to the top of one blade and see if that helps any, if it gets worse switch it to the opposite blade, then when move it from one end to the other then you can glue it on or use tape. Good Luck
LeticiaParticipantMaybe it’s not the remote. It could be the remote receiver. To replace it, you have to take the fan down. Check the warrenty on it, it might be covered if it’s less than a year old. If not, Home Depot sells them. Good luck!
