    Hi,

I want to know if anyone out there knows any way to disguise paneling. I’ve had it too many years and want it to look like a solid wall. Any hints?

Also, the walls in this old house aren’t very insulated. I heard about a pain from NASA that insulates as well as paints. Any one else heard?

    Any help is MUCH appreciated!

    Hi,

I read your thread and I wanted to know if you found the answer to your question as of yet?

I know I was looking for self leveling paint myself and everyone, even the “experts” thought I was looking for this imaginary paint I made up.

Let me tell you I found it. Not at any home supply store or paint store where you would thing they would know about this. Guess where?
Wal-mart. AND only in 29 fluid oz cans. And I had it tinted to the color I wanted. It is by Krylon. Called project cabinet and trim paint. The company that produces it is Insul-X. I got it for my cabinets I bought second hand. It is superior leveling, high-gloss, factory like finish, washable and scrubbable, chemical and grease resistant, bonds to surface, and is non-yellowiing.

    I just bought some yesterday.
I wish you luck in your find. You might want to buy it there and have it mixed to your color by someone else though because Wal-mart didn’t have a very good paint mixer. And someone like Lowe’s or Home Depot would.
