Paint – self-leveling

I am looking for the best self-leveling paint that I can brush on and it will almost look like a lacquer finish.

Hi, Mike. You can get good enamel and arcylic latex paints, but nothing beats a spray finish. Any good spray can beats any brush and the right $28 brush beats any $1.99 brush. As you can see, there are many factors that go into this. I suggest that you go to a specialty paint store and discuss your particular situation with them. Most independent or national chain paint stores have good people that can point you in the right direction. Some of the “Big Boxes” have good people too but it is sometimes difficult to be sure they know what they are talking about.

Hi,

I want to know if anyone out there knows any way to disguise paneling. I’ve had it too many years and want it to look like a solid wall. Any hints?

Also, the walls in this old house aren’t very insulated. I heard about a pain from NASA that insulates as well as paints. Any one else heard?
