there’s no real good way to fill the gaps and have it look right ,you should consider putting a moulding around the base something like quarter round it looks great and covers the gaps nicely

pretty much thats your option or skim coat the wall with joint compound and sand prime and paint that .To remove wallpaper and the glue theres a product called DIF thats made for just that purpose

I think that experience is what makes for a goodlooking textured wall some things you just can’t learn from a book ,you also need special tools namely a compressor and a texture gun and for the homeowner that might do a couple of rooms it might not make sense
to buy or rent the tools and then take the chance of messing up the job and then having to un do the mess

you didn’t need the detergent water alone would have done fine .Theres probably been a residue left from the detergent thats causing the problem with the paint. Re sand the ceiling fill in the problem areas with compound and then give it a good priming with a primer sealer or KilZ ,Zinzer or one of the stain blocking primers then repaint

Quick Tip: Some items may have a model number with a three digit prefix that is smaller than the rest of the model number and it looks similar to: “123.123456789”. Please use the complete model number (e.g. 123.123456789) when using the model number lookup.

this was from the Sears site look on the opener for the complete serial or part #

make sure that you find out whats code whether bx is required or sheathed electrical cable you can use sheathed electrical cable in some states while its a no no in others. I’d definetly make sure that the boxes you install are grounded all the way back to the electrical panel.I’d also attach them to the studs in the wall behind the sink cabinet not the cabinet itself

plunging wont always clear a toilet, there is a tool called a closet auger that puts a coiled spring through the trap and clears toilets way better than a plunger ever can, it has a crank thats turned by hand .Its like snaking out a drain .Clogged toilets are pretty common especially if you’re using a water saver 1.5 gallon toilet and too much toilet paper goes into it

is it possible that the dishwasher is plugged into a GFCI electrical outlet?Look to see where the dishwasher is plugged into if its a GFCI there will be 2 push switches one will say test and one will say re set if its a GFCI push in the re set .You can also check your electrical panel to see if one of the breakers has tripped and re set that

it does sound like the electric eye got knocked out of alignment ,there should be a couple of lights on the transmitter and reciever one light will be on to show that theres power to the transmitter and I believe that there will be another light on when the beam is correctly aligned look carefully and move the transmitter untill the reciever lines up and the remote and wall unit works right it may take a few trys to get it right
