    Thanks for the communication i really appreciate it, is very dumb when comes to things such as this

    How would i tell if the gas is turned on to the dryer the gas is working throught the rest of the house. in the back of the dryer there is a curlded metal rope like piece one end is in the floor leading God knows where lol with a thing turn thin on the side im guessing to tightin it and the other part is leading inot the dryer and is connected to the what should heat the dryer, so i guess my question is how to tell if gas is turned on and what other reason could there be for it not working i know it use to work at one point but the latch on door would kick open if dryer was to full. once again Helppp!!

    the gas is turned off on the dryer i need to know where and how to light it when i open the front bottom of the dryer there is knob that you can turn but i dont hear any gas and in the back of that is long tube like thing with with openings at both ends

    Its not a knob like when lighting a wall heater where you turn knob and hold in for few secs then turn to pilot this know you can just turn has no on off or pilot on it Help lol
