Thank you….I called up the town hall and they have no problem with it….it was more like a “thanks for telling us” thing. I guess living in rural Newfoundland has it’s advantages

It seems like this should be easy but is it? Any tips?
    Thank you

The carpet is within the house.
If I replaced it with vinyl floor covering, would all I need to do is get one of them nailey tack strips (not the right name I know) for the carpet and the vinyl or would I need more materials? Thank you in advance.

Thanks for that, I do see one that is attached to the hot water line.
I was wondering how close can a hot water heater be to the wall? also, how do you adjust the temperature on a hot water tank?

Maybe a stupid question but how do you visually identify these valves without taking the plumbing apart or is there not a way?
    Thanks

I have enough excess wire on the pendent to do the splice in the laundry room fairly high (out of general view), Could I do this just using merrett’s? Please say yes.
By doing this I will have a continuous wire from the light through to the splice which means that I would not have to be hiding the splice in an enclosed space.

    Thanks in advance. ‘preciate it.
