I bought a neptune in 1999 for all the same reasons others have described. I feel deceived by MAYTAG. My machine is broken again. I am not going to get it repaired because there is no guarantee I will get my money back through the settlement which is now being appealed by MAYTAG. I already submitted one claim form for repairs completed in 2003. Same problems- won’t drain and spin and lots of black mold. I am going to buy a cheap machine for 200 dollars and it will probably last 20 years. MAYTAG- another lying cheating US corporation.
