Sounds as if the element is not heating. FIRST: Check the air fluff switch is in the correct position. If so, then you will possible need an appliance technican. SECOND: You can try this to check for any loose of burned wires. However, you MUST disconnet the power – trip the correct circuit breaker, unplug the dryer and move away from wall; you can remove access panel to make sure none of the wires have come loose on the power in line(plug to attaching point) and wires going from the attaching point to control relay (allows 220 volts to go to heating element). If none are loose or burned, then it will require a technican.
vicvera1ParticipantHave you reset the doulble 220 volt breaker?
vicvera1ParticipantSounds like one of the two sensors (located near the bottom of each door rail and close to floor), sometimes called trip sensor.
1. Make sure no objects are blocking the beam
2. check all wires (looks like telephone wire) attached to the trip sensors.
3. check same wires inside the door opener housing
4. if all wires are attached and none are loose. do the next
5. disconnect one of the wires on each sensor and connect one of the two unused wires – plus do the same color wire on the door opener. (total of 3 locations)
6. if still not working disconnect the other wire and connect the fourth (second unused wire) in all three places.
Good Luck.vicvera1ParticipantIs it gas or electric? If electric trip circuit breaker and flip back to on position. Must fully turn off to reset breaker before flipping back to closed position.
vicvera1ParticipantCan I get a general set of instructions on installing an interior pocket door? Just to see if it is possible and fit within an existing 2 x 4 framed interior wall.
