Previous owners of my house replaced a garage door with wooden siding that touches the driveway concrete. Of course, the bottom piece of siding rotted away on the bottom because of the New England rain/snow. Since moving in 4 months ago, we’ve had 2 carpenter ant nests removed.

Is it difficult to replace/repair the siding so we can seal off any possible entryways into the house?

From a 1st time homeowner, thanks for any suggestions.

      Hi,

There is a great step by step of repearing wooden shingels, repairing wooden siding is about the same job.
