I had prefinished wood floors put in several months back. They were installed glue down on the concrete sub-floor. I noticed gaps in between the planks, some over 1/8″, the installer said he would fill them but I told him I did not think it would look good. Now I notice alot of the boards are popping and have a hollow sound to them. He said he would replace those boards and I think he should redo the entire floor because I don’t it was installed correctly in the first place. Any opinions would be helpful.

I would check with the manufacturer’s installation instructions. This sounds like the concrete was not pretreated against moisture and you may not have a qualified contractor. An 1/8″ gap may mean they didn’t get the first run in straight.
You may have an unfortunate situation here that you would not want them to try to do it again.
