A while back i entered in this forum a ? about replacing a florescent fixture to an incandescent one and most said it could not be done because of the differences in the wire voltage. A friend of mine said that he had done it and had no problems and gave me this explanation…He had a toggle switch and a single outlet ( for shaving/hairsprayer ) which was attached to the medicine chest, simmilar to my setup, from the usual 2 wires coming from the source. all he did was detach those 2 wires that were going to the ballast ( which reduced the voltage because of the florescent ) and the other wire going to the end of that fixture. So all one is doing is taking the Flores. Fixt. away and those 2 wires go to the incandescent fixture instead, with the proper power and it worked. Does this not make sense?
