Claudia, since noboody responded to you question, I will give my $.02 worth. It is mainly a matter of practice. I have done alittle but not for big areas. You can use a white latex(any other color for that matter) that is diluted about 10%, paint it on, wait for a few minutes and then slightly wipe it off with a rought cloth(like an old bath towel), you have to experiment with different twchniques to get the effect that you want. Not much of a description, I knowm but it really is a matter of trying different technique.

Let us know how it works out.

I have custom milled paneling in my cabin which has been stained and coated with polyurethane. It’s much to dark. What prep work is required to whitewash?
