Can someone help me with a wheelchair accessible kitchen sink. I’ve gotten into trouble with a designer who claimed to understand access issues, didn’t, and now I’m facing very poor access to a kitchen sink.

How does one i) lower the counter enough but ii) have enough clearance for the knees to fit under.

      Thanks a lot.

I seen one sink design on TV (maybe one of Bob’s shows?) where the drain connection was at one side of the sink (rather then in the middle) so legs could fit under most of it when mounted in a low counter.

You can look at the following link although I don’t think they solved the problem in their sink installation.

      The real question is:

WHAT do you have now and HOW can it be “fixed” ?
