      I want to attach 3/4″ plwood to a 4X4. What size screws do I use?

      3 inch deck screws.

      3-inch screws are far too long. You need 1-1/2 to 2-inch screws. Be sure to use galvanized if it is an exterior application. Helps to know the application when you post these questions.
