  I live in NJ senior complex. I visited a neighbor (70) yrs. Woman. Her stairs are longer than usual, 3 sections. Problem is spacing on spring bars, one side which she has to get on stool or small latter to bring bar past center in order to close other wise metal bends and will eventally break. Any ideas appreciated

  If the attic stairs are installed properly and she cannot navigate them, then she needs to stay out of the attic…
