      Hello,
I would love to have heated tile in our bathroom and kitchen. Its in the upper level of our home, so we would have to go electric. Our electric installer just told us that they dont last. He said the last 2 out of 3 he wired quite working. What kind do you know that has lasted, whats a good brand? How long have they been around?
Thank you for all your help!

That kind of electric heat has only been around for half a century, and many that were installed are still working.

Which gives a good clue – don’t hire the guy who only has them last a few years.

By the way, VERY tall buildings are usually heated with hot water.

Yes, you really have to find out the MAKE and MODEL to get good answers. There IS more than one machine made.
