      Hi,

There’s a window in our bathtub/shower enclosure. It’s nice, but problemmatic.

The current windowsill is rotted and the tile is falling off. My handyman husband has stripped it all down to the studs, and is replacing them as necessary. We’re also planning to replace the window and install waterproof drywall (whatever it’s called) and new tile.

We’d like any advice on how to seal the area. We figure we could tile around the window, or there’s probably some plastic-type windowsill we could install. Any tips or suggestions?

      Thanks,

I would install tile on the window sill. Nail the concrete board onto the sill then apply the quick-set and lay the tile.
      Adios… Jasper
