No matter what I do I can’t adjust this 1B1 Master Mark III fill valve from Coast Foundry so that the water doesn’t rise above the top of the flush valve tube. I don’t want to replace it. The valve in my other bathroom I was able to adjust so that the water does not go above the tube. Any suggestions other than replacement?
There is a clip on the thin vertival rod and the float. Lower the clip as far DOWN the rod as you can. This should make the water stop filling the tank before it reaches the top of the tube. Some fine yuning may be needed after than for a “good” flush.
