I have a huge project! This house has a texturing on the walls that has been described to me as “stomp & drag”. The ceilings are a very shoddy popcorn finish. Now the ceilings need to be scraped and I need to match the texture of the walls. I have tried desperately to get information on the “stomp & drag” process with no luck. Can somebody please help me? The only way I can describe the texture is that it is somewhat like orange peel but with larger flatter protruding patches and slightly deeper recesses. I realize I will have to experiment to get a good match butif somebody can pointme in the right direction I would truly appreciate it.Thanks in advance.
The best I can suggest is to do a google seach with the phrase ‘Stomp & Drag wall texturing’. You will get many hits, and yes I didn’t know there was a thing called a stomp brush. Vert interesting. HTH
