I am thinking the safest way to store gasoline is in the tank of my car. Then, whenever I need say a gallon of gas for the mower, I just siphon it out of the tank. No storage, no fear of improper storage. No driving home from the gas station with a gallon of gas inside the car.
30 years ago, I used a hand crank pump called a jackrabbit to siphon gas out of a car tank. Is there something like that which I can buy?
