I would like to remove vast mulitple layors of paint on all my interior doors. The house was built in 1938 and the doors are solid 5 panel.

I have used a DA sander on the flat areas and removed all layers down to the wood, but wasn’t able to remove any of the paint around the edges of the panels.

I heard that I can sandblast the paint in hard to sand areas, but need to get as much info before I even attempt it.

      Thanks for the help!!!!

You’ll destroy the wood …….creating ridges and valleys from the sand attacking the soft/hard grain differently……removing all crisp detail…

Stick to strippers/paint removers…..Or HEAT GUN and scrapers…..and finally sanding….

      There’s no miracle cure….it’s just work….
