I have a rotten subfloor and joists in my ground floor bathroom extending from toilet area to under the cast iron bathtub. We’ve just removed the tile floor and concrete underlayment, and can see the damage extends under the tub. The bathtub fits snugly in the space (5′ X 8′ bathroom), so there’s no removing it. I figure we can jack it up from the crawl space below (maybe using cinderblocks to elevate), and do all the repairs.
What kind of jack would I need? Where would I get such a jack? Thanks.
