      Hi,

In the midst of replacing some old toilets with low-flush models. I have pvc water supply lines coming out of the floor which I am interested in replacing with braided the flexible braided version. Thing is, the pvc that connects to the toilet open/close valve is on tight and doesn’t seem to want to budge. I need to know if this is something I can replace, and if so, how? Is the pvc that connects from the toilet to the valve threaded, ie: so I can unscrew it, or is this a bigger problem?

      Thanks for all your suggestions.

without seeing it i can give no guarantee, but any one i have ever seen had a 3/8 compression fitting at the shutoff valve.
if that’s what it is then it should come off.if you need to apply force be sure to hold back on the actual valve.

Is you pipe glued or attached with metal rings ? What color is the pipe ?
