Replace interior door with cafe doors

I have removed an existing interior door separating my kitchen from laundry room. I wish to replace it with a swinging cafe door. Outside of filling in the doorframe where the hinges & latch went, do I need to change out any of the framework? There is currently what looks like baseboard attached which keeps an interior door closed.

i think it’s called door stop molding.pry that off also so the doors will swing both ways.
