  I have a basketball hoop in my backyard that i would like to remove. It was set into the ground with cement using a 5″ x 5″ square steel tube filled with cement. What is the best way to cut this and remove the pole from the ground?

  i would cut it leaving about 4 to 5 feet above ground then get a couple of helpers and start rocking it back and forth until it loosens up then everybody lift.
