We just had our interior painted and the contractor got paint splatters all over our doorknobs which are brushed nickel and our pellet stove which is metal with a black finish.

How do I remove the paint splatters without damaging the hardware? Especially without taking the black finish off the pellet stove?

      Thanks.

The safest and the easyest way to remove paint splatters is spay wd40 on it and let it soak in, then useing your credit card or something like it (nothing metal)scrape off the paint. WD40 has this great way of getting under the dryed up paint so it can’t stick.

Plus your pellet stove is going to look like new once you polish it up with a clean cloth. But please don’t take my word on it go to wd40 site and click on there uses for wd40 and they even say its good for that type of thing and 2 billon other uses.
