  first clean the affected area with a cleaning solution, then kilz the area with several coats, then see where you are, then repaint.

  Use paste toothpaste,not gel,and rub,also let dry and go over with a white fresh eraser.Presto!

  I have 4 kids and lots of writing on the wall, I always spray hairspray on the area and then immediately scrub off, works everytime for me!
