the old disposal is all rusted includeing the screws and I can’t get it off the sink. I have tried a screw driver in the rings on the dispsosal. Can someone help me
the only way is to cut.i’ve had problems getting faucets off and have had much success using a dremmel tool(sears brand,bob,)with a reinforced cut off wheel.it gets into really tight places.if you do this wear safety glasses and a dust mask when working under a kitchen sink.replace it with an insinkerator brand and you won’t have this problem next time around. good luck.
