I have ceramic floor tile that needs to be removed. It is in 3 layers – the bottom layer is plywood, then steel mesh, then ceramic tile with grout. We took up part of the floor previously but it is not only time consuming, but back breaking work. Is there ANY suggestions that would make this easier? We had to break the tiles into tiny pieces, then hand cut the mesh a piece at a time. The board was no problem. We need to get this done since part of the floor has already been taken out.

Any help you can provide regarding tools, methods, etc. would be greatly appreciated.

      Thanks!
