We have removed the glass doors from our fiberglass bath/shower. How to we get the old caulking off the fiberglass??? I have tried Goofoff, it worked ok where there was just a trace but where there is buildup it doesn’t seem to faze it. Any ideas???? Thanks much.
Jan, go to your local hardware store, like Home Depot, and purchase a product called caulk dissolver. It’s made by DAP. It’ll only cost you about $2.50 – $3.00.
Recently I acquired some old wood pane windows. On most panes about a third of the old caulking was chipping out. The caulking was applied very thick and dried very hard. Would appreciate any suggestions on how to remove it and preserve the glass. Thank you for your time.
