My bathroom is in good shape…nice tub and shower, albeit on the old style. I have great white tiles around the tub and shower and a small window. I would like to replace a couple of items as one ages. First, I have the old 3 knobs about shoulder height, with the middle one used for the shower with a diverter. I would like to replace it with the later style of a big round circle and with the gadget turnig for hot and cold water. The idea of having to break through the tiles to get at the old pipes would be a mess and wonder how can I get those tiles back to their original state with the new fixtures. LAstly, as a senior and fear of slipping on a wet tub that was glazed is the other problem. What to put on such a surface that would prevent slippage, without removing the glazed that brought my tub from a powder blue to a bright white. Any ideas of how I can approach this? Thanks
